What is Coaching?
Summed up perfectly by Harvard educationalist Timothy Gallwey, coaching can be described as "unlocking people's potential to maximise their performance".
The coach's job is to support the person being coached (the coachee) through their journey of growth and performance. Coaching is not about teaching or instructing but instead, it focuses on the clarification of the coachee's purpose, vision, goals and his/her ultimate potential.
We believe that every person has all the resources they need to succeed and is doing the best they can with what is available to them. Yet, there comes a time when you may need that helping hand to access certain resources which, although they are there, retrieving them is a challenge.
Coaching is not about instant problem solving nor giving advice. It is the coach's job, through open questions, to enable and challenge the person being coached (the coachee) to reflect, identify, clarify and work through any points where the achievement of specific goals is being stifled by 'roadblocks'.
We pride ourselves on flexibility and although we have a large selection of coaching resources and experiences to utilise, we tailor our solutions and approach in line with individual needs and the required outcome.

Totally. All sessions are completely confidential, and we follow strict professional safeguarding guidelines. Everything you say will be treated with the utmost respect and absolute confidentiality.

What happens after I book?
On receiving your request via our website, we will email you a confirmation email containing important information including a Pre-Coaching Questionnaire for you to complete prior to our first meeting.

What is the duration of a coaching session?
Coaching sessions are usually one hour, though dependent on the agreed objective for each meeting, these can always be tailored to your specific needs.
